Do you have cakes that are suitable for Muslims?Whilst we use only butter, eggs and fresh dairy products and do not use animal fats, our cheesecakes and mousses are made with gelatine and therefore may not be suitable for vegetarians.Please also note that are cakes are not Halal. Do you have cakes that are suitable for diabetics?Whilst we do not use sugar substitutes or artificial sweeteners some of our cakes may be suitable for diabetics, please see The British Diabetic Association website for further information.Do you have cakes that are suitable for people with nut allergies?We use a variety of nuts and nut derivatives in our bakery , whilst some of our products may not include nuts or nut derivatives as an ingredient they may however contain nut traces.For specific dietary needs please email our production team directly. Do you have cakes that are suitable for vegetarians and vegans?All our cakes with the exception of our cheese cakes and mousses, are vegetarian, however the use of dairy products may not be suitable for vegans.Do you offer cakes with organic ingredients?NoSoya milk?NoHow long will the cakes stay fresh and will they have to be kept refridgerated?Our frozen gateau range have a shelf life of 1 month maximum when stored at -18°C or below. When thawed, keep refrigerated, and for best results eat within 2 days.Our Special occasion and Celebration cakes are made with fresh cream and/or fresh fruits and therefore must be kept refrigerated when taken home. They have a maximum 2 days shelf life if kept in the fridge at 5°C or below. How can we customise cakes?We feel confident that our extensive range of cakes will offer you a choice to cater for most occasions. However should you require something a little different please email our Patisserie Production team who will be happy to offer suggestions.Can we have writing on the cake?A message of your choice can be written directly onto any one of our cakes shown in the Celebration cake range. Our Special occasion cake and frozen gateau ranges can include a message of your choice written on a white chocolate plaque.What are your most popular cakes?Our Mandarin Delight gateau, Gateau Noir and Strawberry St Honoré.Do all shops offer the same range of cakes?Whilst all shops may not make the same cakes every day, any of those shown on this website can be ordered from any branch apart from Norwich, Mary Ardens and Halls Croft in advance. However as they are all hand-made they may vary slightly from the cakes on this website.Is a deposit needed for large orders?All orders placed and confirmed on the website will need to be paid in full at the time of ordering.Do I have to collect my order in person?No, as long as you either quote the order reference number or send a copy of your online order confirmation with the person collecting on your behalf.Do you offer a delivery service?No.How much notice is needed when ordering a cake?Any cakes ordered on line require a minimum lead time of 72 hours, wedding cakes and large orders may require longer. We recommend telephoning your local cafe or alternatively email our Patisserie Production team directly for further details.Can I order products online or in the stores?The complete range of cakes shown on our website can be ordered online or in person at any one of our stores with the exception of Norwich, Mary Ardens and Halls Croft. Please note however that if ordering in store we will still require a 72 hours lead time.Do you have any special offers or discounts?Any special offers or discounts will be notified in our newsletters, in our stores or on this website. |
